Chicken in Basil Cream
Chicken in Basil Cream
2 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (4 ounce) jar slince pimento peppers, drained
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
After chicken is cooked remove from skillet and add chicken broth and bring to boil over medium heat to loosen any browned bits from pan. Stir in cream and pimentos; boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add parmasan cheese, basil and pepper. Stir cause until heated through. Pour mixture over chicken and serve.
