Candied Almonds and Pecans
Candied Almonds and Pecans
2 cup almonds or pecans
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 cup water
Toast the almonds or pecans in a 350 oven for 8 minutes. Mix sugar, cinnamon, salt and water in saucepan. Heat until liquid is steams. Add toasted nuts. Mix until a light sugar coating is on the nuts. Spread on butcher paper. Let cool then break the nuts apart.
