Cooking Spray
1 lb. boneless top round steak cut into thin bite-sized pieces
1 cup sliced yellow onion
1½ large bell peppers cut into strips
⅔ cup water
1 tsp. beef bouillon granules
2 Tbs. teriyaki sauce
1 medium sized clove garlic, minced
¼ cup water
1 Tbs. + 1 tsp. cornstarch
1½ medium tomatoes, cut into bite sized pieces
4 cup hot cooked white rice
Coat 1 wok with low calories spray. Add beef and brown over high heat. Remove beef and set aside. Place onion in wok. Reduce heat to medium and stir fry onion until tender and translucent. Add peppers, water, bouillon granules, teriyaki sauce, garlic and beef. Reduce heat, cover wok, and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until meat is tender but thoroughly cooked.
In a small bowl, combine water and cornstarch. Pour mixture into wok and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes more.
Serves 4 at 476 calories per serving.
