Cheesecake-Topped Brownies
1 Package fudge brownie mix
1 Package cream cheese, softened
2 Tbs. butter
1 Tbs. cornstarch
14 ounce can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Ready-to-spread chocolate frosting (if desired)
Orange peel (if desired)
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare brownie mix as on package instructions. Spread into well-greased 13x9 baking pan. In large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and cornstarch until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth. Pour cheesecake mixture evenly over brownie batter. Bane 40-45 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Cool and spread with frosting or sprinkle with orange peel, if desired. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator.
