3 cup sugar
1 cup cream
¼ cup milk
1 Tbs. Karo syrup
Dash of salt
Stir until dissolved, then wash down crystals. Cook to soft ball stage (235°F). Do not stir after mixture begins to boil. Pour out onto platter to cool, then beat. Add flavorings, butter and coloring. Shape as desired for chocolates.
